So I will combine two days update in one. Which by no means does any justice. We have heard from from a combination of operational experts , financial people and then evangelism and children’s ministry leaders. It was brought home to me again that it doesn’t matter what God has called you to but when God prompts you it causes your heart to beat faster when you do that thing that God has called you to, this is what I witnessed again and again through this past week. So my knowledge has increased. But more that knowledge it is what God has done in me both in and out of the structured sessions.

Today (Friday) we had an entire day with Bill Hybels – the leader of Willow Creek community Church. This is someone who has been a mentor to me from afar through his books, sermons and training events. I got to meet him!! I asked him like an excited kid to sign my journal.
But! What he shared with us was another level of exceptional. This is someone who has been at this for 40 years! And doing leadership at such a high caliber all of that time.

I have to take a 7.5 hour flight to begin to process what I have heard, experienced and what God has deposited in me. This can’t just take a month or two to apply but I believe If I process it well will ooze out of me for a long time to come.
