So today we heard from Mark MacDonald on Generosity and stewardship in Church. Much to think about. But again I have realised that we cannot go through life and ignore that truth that we serve a generous God and we are called to emulate this attribute.

We then spent the day with the legendary Gordon MacDonald author of many books but especially one of favourite Ordering your private world

So much to reflect on and REALLY challenging stuff but for me personally on the subject of friends. He referred to capital F friends. And how many do I have and do I count on them, talk to them, pray with them and see them and hang out with them. SO challenging! and the other nugget I took away was the practice of journalling!

I have so much growing to do. But the good news is that if I am called then I have another 25+ years to go and much to do , engage in and dream about!
